As we previously reported, it was recently revealed that Kristin Cavallari‘s brother Michael has been missing for over a week. Reportedly, the reality TV star’s sibling’s MIA status came shortly after being arrested and abandoning his car off a Utah highway.
So scary!
It’s since been revealed that the Laguna Beach alum’s brother has struggled with his fair share of drama over the years. However, it appears that Miz Cavallari’s stood by her flesh-and-blood through all of it!

A source shared:
“Her brother was always a troubled kid and there was always drama with him. He gave his parents a hard time. He’s completely opposite to Kristin who is levelheaded and business orientated.”
Despite being opposites, it appears that The Hills star made sure to protect her older sibling no matter what.
The source continued:
“She was always very protective of him. She was always trying to help him. He had been trying to produce reality shows awhile ago, but it didn’t work out.”
We can only imagine how rough this time must be for Kristin and her family. In fact, the insider noted:
“They are all ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ apart from Kristin’s dad [Dennis], who is in California ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ holed up in Chicago giving each other emotional support. They don’t have any idea what has happened to him and Kristin is totally freaked out and hoping for the best.”
Tragic! Our hearts go out to the entire Cavallari family while they wait for good news.
