Kristin Davis Raises Money To Save Elephants From Poachers

Kristin Davis raises money to help save elephants from poachers!

Kristin Davis looooooves animals!

She’s a champion for mother earth, recently adopting a baby elephant AND raising enough money to buy an anti-poaching helicopter.

She’s continuing to raise money to make sure elephants stay safe. Every 15 minutes, an elephant is killed for its ivory tusks.

At this rate, if nothing is done, elephants will be extinct in 12 years!!

Kristin said:

“I helped rescue an orphaned baby elephant in 2009 on a visit to Kenya, and was fortunate to be able to take her to the woman who first had success raising orphaned elephants and returning them to the wild. Dame Daphne Sheldrick told me that the baby elephant we found could have been the victim of poachers who had killed her family. I thought to myself that poaching was illegal and maybe the Sheldricks were likely worried for no reason.”

In 2012, over 30,000 elephants were killed illegally for their ivory!!

That’s insane! Something needs to be done!

Oh wait… Kristin is doing something!

She is hosting a #STARTARYOT Challenge on crowdrise, a crowd funding donation website.

If you donate $15 towards the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust by Aug. 30th at 11:59 EST, you will be entered into a chance to win a Kindle Paperwhite signed by Kristin!! All just for trying to help save some elephants!

So what are you waiting for?? Click HERE and get donating!!
