LeAnn Rimes Threatens Legal Action Against Ex-Husband Dean Sheremet Over New Book -- But His Attitude About It Is AMAZING!

LeAnn Rimes can’t silence Dean Sheremet!
According to legal docs obtained exclusively by InTouch Magazine, LeAnn is attempting to keep her ex-husband Dean from talking about her in his new cookbook, Eat Your Heart Out. Rimes contends a confidentiality agreement in 2009 prevents Sheremet from speaking on “all personal and professional information” that hasn’t been expressed prior to their contentious split.

Here’s the thing — D.S. claims there’s nothing salacious or hurtful in his latest project. The chef says he simply references the marriage because it inspired him to create dishes mentioned in the book.
The food guru explained:

“The lawyers wanted to know what details I included about LeAnn. I just don’t get it. She already killed my happiness the first time around. It’s like, ‘Move on already, LeAnn’. I’ve moved on!”

Woah! Tell LeAnn how you really feel, Dean! We suspect L.R.’s affair with now husband Eddie Cibrian is what “killed” the author’s happiness…
As for the country singer, sources close to her say the letter threatening legal action against her ex is nothing more than self-defense:

“Neither is allowed to disclose ‘confidential information’ about the marriage that hasn’t previously been made public – including in a book. If either of them breaches these terms, legal options can be pursued.”

Inneresting. The legal deets also go on to reveal that this isn’t the first time Sheremet has talked about their seven year marriage in the press.
Despite all the drama, the New York resident argues this work is nothing more than an expression of his love for food, adding:

“I worked very hard on this book and I’m proud of it. I’m on people’s radar because of my past with her. I can’t erase my past; I referred to it and was very respectful. I’m not the one who cheated.”

Ouch! Dean just couldn’t wait to throw in that final burn about cheating!
Since the chef’s book dropped on February 8, we imagine a lawsuit would happen soon if LeAnn chooses to pursue it. Considering Rimes just ended a suit with her former maid and is constantly feuding with Brandi Glanville, a legal battle with her ex would probably be a piece of cake.
