Well it’s been a while!
On Thursday, Leighton Meester dropped her MIA-status, taking to Instagram and sharing a friend’s snap of herself enjoying a girls’ night. LOVES it!
This photo is the first time the Gossip Girl alum’s been photographed since giving birth to her and her husband Adam Brody‘s daughter Arlo Day earlier this summer! Whoa.
Still, that behavior isn’t completely out of the ordinary for Miz Meester as she’s known for being particularly private. We mean she NEVER actually confirmed pregnancy OR birth! Well played madam.

In a previous interview, she shared:
├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣”My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important. It’s my family, my friends and having a personal life. Those are the things that need nurturing.”
Nonetheless, it appears motherhood is treating the starlet quite well as she had that perfect new mom glow. AH-Mazing!
For a sit-down with NYLON around the time Leighton was first pregnant, she gushed:
“Most people I know are starting to get married. It’ll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I’ve got dogs.”
Aww! We can only imagine what a great mom the Life Partners actress has become these last few months.
However, we would love to see more of Leighton, Adam, and of course little Arlo sometime soon! LOLz!
