Lily Allen is never shy to state her opinion, whether through song or social media!
This week, the Sheezus singer took issue with the launch of Tidal, questioning if Jay Z‘s new streaming service would mostly just benefit millionaire superstars while setting back emerging artists.

Then, things got real shady real quick!
Following her Twitter rant about the streaming service, the songstress posted the following picture of Beyoncé:

Seems harmless by itself, but afterwards the singer tweeted a thinly veiled statement that may have been directed towards Queen Bey herself:
protecting an art form is when you release music written by other people and take the majority of the publishing because your name is on it

Is that fair, or is that greed and abuse of power ?

Shade detected!!
But is it at Bey?
Lily could definitely be referencing the time Beyoncé received some criticism for crediting herself a writer on songs where she only changed a word or two.
And this wouldn’t be the first time Lily has slammed the diva — she fired shots at Queen Bey and several other female artists in 2014’s Sheezus as well!
Do YOU think Lily Allen’s Tweet was a dig at Beyonc├â┬⌐?
