At least Lori Loughlin‘s daughters are clearly of sound enough conscience to party hard this week…
Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, were spotted at a Fourth of July party with friends in Malibu, California on Thursday… but while those two are partying it up (and not returning to school any time soon), it appears mom Loughlin and dad Mossimo Giannulli are HARD at work preparing for their trial in the college admissions bribery scandal!

According to People, both ex-college student daughters were dressed up in patriotic garb for the holiday party out on the beach, reportedly “with Olivia Jade wearing a white crop top with a pair of matching pants while Isabella went with a red dress with white polka dots.”
Awww. Gorgeous.
No word on whether Loughlin and/or Giannulli will look good in bright orange jumpsuits, though — and mom & dad were nowhere to be found for the Fourth of July festivities, either, as they rush to mount a major legal defense for their upcoming trial, where they’ll face down the federal government in fallout from the college admissions scandal.
It’s not a very enviable position for Loughlin and Giannulli to be in, of course, even as their daughters maintain a pretty low (but increasingly public) profile as the outrage around the scandal itself dies down. Even just a couple weeks ago, a source was noting how there is still a TON of media attention around Loughlin and Giannulli, and even though former YouTube star Olivia was ready to get back into the limelight, things just weren’t figuring to be that simple.

The source spoke to People at the time (below):
“Olivia is doing well. What’s going on with her parents is still upsetting to her, but she is also trying to focus on her own life as well. Her parents still face a lot of media attention. There is paparazzi at the family house every day. It’s very stressful for everyone. Olivia has decided to move out for now. She doesn’t want to be followed when she leaves her home.”
No kidding!
The Fourth of July party marks one of the most public recent forays back into “normal life” for the girls, but as we know with their parents worrying about jail time, life has been anything but normal recently. Summer’s almost over, too — what will they do in the fall when there’s no USC dorm to which they can return?!
