A woman claims to have seen heaven after surviving a cardiac arrest.
Earlier this week on Instagram, tattoo artist Suede Silver posted a picture of client Madie Johnson‘s ink — of the text, “It’s real” — which was inspired by her aunt Tina‘s recent health troubles.

According to Johnson, Tina had an abrupt loss of heart function, and was technically dead — according to doctors.
However, after she was revived four times by first responders, Tina got transported to a hospital.
While on a defibrillator, she woke up and gestured for a pen as she was unable to speak.
In Madie’s cousin’s journal, Tina wrote, “It’s real.”
When the people in her room asked what was “real,” the aunt responded by pointing up, signaling heaven, with tears in her eyes!
According to Madie:
“My Aunt Tina, one of the healthiest and most amazing people I know had an unexpected cardiac arrest and according to doctors had died and was brought back to life four times by first responders before arriving to the hospital. She was put on a defibrillator and after miraculously waking up the first thing she did, unable to speak because she was intubated, was ask for a pen and in my cousins journal wrote ‘it’s real.’ The people in the room asked, ‘What’s real?’ and she responded by pointing up to heaven with tears in her eyes.'”
Johnson added on her IG page:
“Her story is too real not to share and has given me a stronger confidence in a faith that so often goes unseen. It has given me a tangibleness to an eternal hope that is not too far away. I love you @_tinahines! The way you boldly love Jesus and others has changed the way I hope to live and love.”
Additionally, Madie clarified to a commenter she was the one who got the tattoo of her aunt’s handwriting.
