Well this sure is inneresting!
Making a Murderer has caused quite a bit of controversy as of late. In case you’ve missed it, the Netflix docu-series explores the real life cases of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey for their alleged involvement in the murder of a young women named Teresa Halbach back in 2005.
Since the popular 10-part-series dropped on the streaming service back in December, several people from the documentary have spoken out — including the prosecutor Ken Kratz, as well as defense attorney Dean Strang.

But sometimes words aren’t enough as Brad Dassey, Brendan’s half-brother and Christian rapper, has proven with the release of his rap song They Didn’t Do It. The song, as you can probably tell by the title, reflects Brad’s feelings that his brother and Steven are innocent and calls out both the police as well as the judicial system.
In fact, Brendan’s conviction hasn’t just upset Brad for what he feels is injustice, but it’s affected his life as well since he was fired from his DJ gig after his brother was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Whoa.
Ch-ch-check out the song (below) for yourself and let us know what you think!
P.S. While Brad knows the rap song isn’t a masterpiece, it’s very important to him as he spent 10 hours on the song and hopes to perform it for his brother when he goes to visit him. Aww!
