We understand being angry about this whole situation, but this is not okay.
The never-ending saga of Making a Murderer had a rather shocking development late Wednesday night as an unidentified man called in a bomb threat against the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
If you’re familiar with Netflix‘s ten-part docu-series on the trial and conviction of Steven Avery, then you’ll recall that this is the same Wisconsin police force that came under fire for mishandling the 2005 murder investigation of Teresa Halbach.

According to reports, a call was made at about 7:45 p.m. EST Wednesday alerting police to a potential explosive device targeting authorities with the intent of getting “justice for Steven.”
The MCSO confirmed the bomb threat on Twitter, saying:
Manitowoc Police investigating a bomb threat to the Manitowoc Sheriff’s Office. Investigation is in progress & ongoing. More info to follow

Thankfully no one was injured as K9 units cleared the building finding zero signs of explosives.
Still, this is a pretty extreme reaction towards people we only know about through a TV show, regardless if they really are corrupt or not…
