Mark Ruffalo Was Cut From Captain America: Civil War -- And Says You Might Not See Hulk In Marvel Movies For A While!

Oh no!
We think it’s safe to say that Mark Ruffalo‘s turn as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The Avengers movies is the most successful take on the character yet!
Though he hasn’t received his own stand alone movie, Ruffalo has captured audiences’ hearts with his version of the green giant, and stolen most scenes he’s appear in.

That’s why we were so excited about the rumors that the character might be making an appearance in the upcoming Marvel movie, Captain America: Civil War after he was spotted on set!
But it sounds like there might be bad news for anyone who loves watching the big guy SMASH! Ruffalo recently revealed in an interview that he would’t be in the film after all:

“The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie (Civil War). I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon. [Hulk] is still missing, [and it’s] not known where. I thought that I would be in the film, but in the end [Marvel] evidently believe that revealing what happened to Hulk is something too big, and Marvel wants to use this information later. Who knows, maybe Hulk will never return. However, they want to keep the revelation of what happened a secret, because it is something really big.”

Whomp, whomp!
We’d LOVE to see Hulk show up in Cap 3, but if Marvel has bigger plans, we have to trust them — the’ve definitely earned it at this point!
And you’ll have plenty of superhero eye candy to look at as it’s going to have Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, and the HIGHLY anticipated debut of Marvel’s new Spider-Man Tom Holland.
That’s enough stars for us to firmly plant our butts in a theater seat when this sure-to-be epic blockbuster hits theaters May 6, 2016!
Where do YOU think Hulk is??
