They say time heals all wounds. And if time isn’t enough, maybe an Emmy win will be all Michael Douglas needs to win Catherine Zeta-Jones back!
The Oscar-winning pair are currently in a trial separation as they attempt to save their 13-year-old marriage. But Mikey D seems to be VERY optimistic lately that they can get back on track toward a happy and healthy relationship again!
At last night’s Emmy’s, the Behind the Candelabra star took home the golden lady and made sure to thank his lady CZJ during his acceptance speech! Michael said:
“I want to thank my wife, Catherine, for her support.”
OK. Brief, but telling!
Douglas also spoke about his and Catherine’s current situation to reporters while walking the red carpet! Michael explained that the trouble in paradise might soon be over, saying:
“Everybody is fine. Nothing really more to say. We were just taking a little break. We’re talking. I think everything will be fine and I’m very hopeful.”
Hmm…
Michael seems to be talking in the PAST tense there, though! Like, as in maybe their separation is over and they’re back together again??
We believe in love so our fingers are crossed that you two are back and better than ever!!!
