Miley Cyrus Praises Woody Allen As A Director -- 'He's Never Fake'

Miley Cyrus praises Woody Allen.
Well, this is disappointing.
Despite all the allegations of sexual abuse against Woody Allen by his daughter Dylan Farrow, some celebs continue to work with the director.

Miley Cyrus is starring in Allen’s first-ever TV series for Amazon called Crisis in Six Scenes, and she recently praised the 80-year-old in Vanity Fair, saying:

“What I love about Woody Allen is that he’s never putting anything on. He’s never fake and he’s exactly who he is through and through. For me, I have the highest respect of anyone who is truly themselves. He even runs his set in a way that is truly him. He’s super-resourceful and he’s not over the top.”

It’s unnerving to hear the actress gush over someone who’s been repeatedly accused of sexual misconduct. Earlier this year, Ronan Farrow, Dylan’s brother, even wrote an essay slamming Hollywood stars who still choose to work with the director, because by doing so they were actively endorsing him and his earlier actions.
Miley herself is a vocal advocate against injustice, and recently said she wouldn’t do red carpets anymore because there were so many bigger issues in the world.
How can she be critical of red carpets but not of a man who has repeatedly been accused of child molestation? It doesn’t make any sense.
Though it’s too late to back out of the series now, we hope the 23-year-old thinks about her actions going forward.
Thoughts???
