Naomi Personally Banned by Mandela...Ouch!

The bad usually overshadows the good!

The British media reports that Nelson Mandela has PERSONALLY banned Naomi Campbell from appearing on stage at his 90th birthday concert in London on Friday.

A source close to the event said, “‘The man himself intervened and she was pulled off the list. He was disappointed with her recent arrest – particularly as she was wearing a 46664 baseball cap at the time.”

46664 was Mr. Mandela’s prison number-during his 27-year sentence and now promotes his AIDS awareness campaign.

The insider goes on to say, “Naomi was slated to introduce some of the acts on stage as she has done with 46664 concerts in the past, but she has been informed that this time she can only sit in the grandstand.”

This must have been quite a blow for the catwalker!

She’s called Mandela her ‘honorary grandfather’ and has been deeply involved with his charity.

Tough break, Naomi.
