Well this just isn’t good to hear at all — especially when it sounds like he fell off a long, tough ride on the wagon.
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested in Hamilton County, Indiana last night for driving under the influence and posession of a controlled substance, although it’s not clear what the substance was.
The NFL owner previously struggled with addiction to painkillers after a surgery in the late 90’s, however, he recently claimed he’s been sober for 15 years.
Jim’s bond was set at $22,500 and he was kept in prison overnight until the substances completely left his system.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has yet to release a statement on the incident, but there’s a good chance he’ll hand out some sort of punishment soon.
