Nick Carter was granted a temporary restraining order against his younger brother, Aaron — who allegedly has intentions of killing Lauren Kitt — Nick’s pregnant wife.
According to the order, obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, the Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) singer must stay at least 100 feet away from the Backstreet Boys band member. The 31-year-old must also back away from Nick’s spouse, child, and other family members, and cannot be anywhere near his older brother’s Las Vegas residence.

On Twitter on Tuesday, Nick released a statement explaining why he and sister, Angel, took legal action against the musician.
While adding the hashtags — #mentalhealth, #GunControlNow, and #GunControl — the 39-year-old wrote:
“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
In May, Nick announced he and his wife are expecting their second child. The two previously welcomed a baby boy in 2016.
In response, Aaron told TMZ that day:
“I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”
He also tweeted he “was just served,” and has not seen Nick “in four years” and does not intend to.
Aaron added:
“You should send a cease and desist while you’re at it too.”
“All I ask is for my family to leave me alone. This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you and I don’t want to be around you. I am the one who said I’m done then you send me this!? Ok. Stop trying to get me 5150’d before I file a harassment suit myself nick I have the $”
“LEAVE ME ALONE. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. IM BEGGING YOU. PLEASE. I haven’t even seen you guys and nick you bullied me my whole life. And tortured me as a child. And everyone knows it. ITS BEEN PUBLIC. and now you’re scared of the truth.”
“I’ll be just fine without them. They need to leave me alone. Michael Jackson told me this was gonna happen and he was right.”
As we reported last week, Aaron slammed “trigger” Nick on social media, and claimed his older brother betrayed their family all for the sake of a book.
“Nick started it by using his [family’s] shortcomings for profit when he wrote a book. Also he didn’t even show up at [sister Leslie‘s] FUNERAL because he had a concert at a bar two hours away and said he didn’t want to be apart of family drama when we were burying our sister Leslie.”
Aaron also accused Nick of not helping out their mother, Jane, who reportedly struggles with alcohol abuse.
“It’s family that should come first. Especially your mother NICK I get that you’re about to have another kid so I’ll let this rest but you got my number you can call me, I’m sure one of your appointees are going to relay the message since I blocked you.”
Truly a sad situation…
