It was totally heartbreaking to hear that The Patriot actress Skye McCole Bartusiak had passed away at the incredibly young age of 21 years old.
We have now learned that the young star just might have passed away after suffering from seizures.
Her mother, Helen McCole Bartusiak, has revealed that her daughter suffered a week of epileptic seizures.
After Skye’s boyfriend found her sitting up on a bed in a garage apartment next to the family’s home, her mother tried to resuscitate her as she has done before:
“We think she had a seizure and choked and nobody was there … I’ve done CPR on that kid more than one time and it just didn’t work this time.”
Skye had suffered from seizures for most of her life.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this most difficult time.
