Prince Harry is feeling a little homesick!
Despite an encouraging update on Prince Charles‘ coronavirus diagnosis, the 35-year-old is reportedly feeling a bit guilty for being away from the royal family during the pandemic.

A source shared with Us Weekly:
“Despite their ups and downs, hearing that his dad is sick with a potentially life-threatening illness is a huge wake-up call. And he’s overwhelmed with feelings of guilt for not being closer to home while this is all going on.”
Apparently, the future monarch filled Harry and Prince William in via phone call about his diagnosis:
“During the heart-wrenching call, he confessed to feeling beyond helpless, being over 5,000 miles away in L.A. Charles tried to calm Harry down by saying he’s OK and that he’s only suffering from mild symptoms, which slightly helped put his mind at ease but he’s [Harry] still worried. Harry’s admitted it’s hit home that Charles and the Queen aren’t going to be around forever.”
With a big time difference from El Lay to London, it can be hard to catch the royal fam at a good time, added the confidant, which has just been leaving him feeling more alone:
“Harry tries to keep in regular contact with the Queen and Charles, but due to the 8-hour time difference calls are few and far between. The royals are desperately trying to rally together amid the pandemic, which is a huge struggle given that they’ve been forced to physically separate.”
Meanwhile, Charles is feeling a bit more positive than his son after being able to exit self-isolation per the recommendation of his doctor. On Wednesday, he shared a video message to share an update about his health:
“Having recently gone through the process of contracting this coronavirus – luckily with relatively mild symptoms – I now find myself on the other side of the illness, but still in no less a state of social distance and general isolation.”
The 71-year-old also expressed his thanks to the people of the UK who have done what they can to lend a helping hand:
“However, we also know that in every community up and down this land – where people of all ages are being affected by this virus – there are truly wonderful neighbours, individuals and groups of volunteers who are providing ceaseless care and attention to those most at risk and that all this network of selfless assistance is, in itself, helping to provide vital support and reassurance to the hard-pressed professional services.”
