Good news for Robin Thicke!
According to reports from Friday, the Blurred Lines singer has been cleared of any wrongdoing in regards to those child abuse allegations. Huh.
A source dished to Entertainment Tonight that Mr. Thicke was cleared by Child Protective Services a day after the hitmaker’s ex, Paula Patton, accused him of excessively spanking their son, Julian. Well, well!

In case you forgot, the Warcraft actress brought the alleged abuse to light while trying to get full custody of her six-year-old. Miz Patton told a judge that Julian told her Robin spanked him “really hard.” Oof.
Nonetheless, the 39-year-old seems to be carrying on with his life, despite the drama, as the insider added:
“Robin has had his head down and has been working on new music. He was a rock for his entire family when his father [Alan Thicke] died… Anyone who knows Robin knows that Julian is the light of his life. He would never hurt Julian. He’s not a bad guy.”
We have a feeling Paula would disagree.
However, according to the confidant, Julian and Robin have been close lately. Specifically, the father-son duo were said to be “inseparable” at the songwriter’s dad’s funeral. In fact, the El Lay native previously accused Paula of having “residual anger” against him for not allowing her to attend her former father-in-law’s funeral.
