Almost like the Oprah/Lindsay thing! Except two million dollars cheaper!
When Shailene Woodley wasn├óΓé¼Γäót totes sure she was ready to take on the starring role in the Divergent franchise, she did what we always do if we├óΓé¼Γäóre at a Divergent path on life’s road:
Call on Jennifer Lawrence!
Jen just takes longer to get back to us than she did with Shailene. LOLz!!!
The Hunger Games/Oscar winner advised Shailene to stay the course with the series. At Comic-Con this weekend promoting the movie, Shailene said:
“I have still yet to meet Jennifer in the flesh, but I had a slight interaction with her where I asked her about Hunger Games and what it was like, and her life and how much it has changed. It was nice asking someone who has been through the process and is kind of seasoned in the young-adult franchise. She gave me really beautiful advice and said that I should definitely take it.”
Do we hear a Katniss vs. Tris mash-up movie in the works?
With regards to accepting the role, Shailene said Jennifer told her:
“It will be the best thing that ever happened. But don’t be an idiot, do a sex tape, or do drugs. And go to Whole Foods when your movie opens.”
Given Shailene’s admission of rampant morning nakedness, it’s a good thing Jen’s in her ear.
And we├óΓé¼Γäóre intrigued by the Whole Foods tip. We’ll see you there, Jennifer, when Catching Fire starts this Fall!
