Sophie Turner Confirms Surprise Vegas Wedding With Joe Jonas To Define 'Camp'! LOLz!

No one knew the theme of the 2019 Met Gala better than Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas!
The Game of Thrones star subtly confirmed that she and the Sucker singer tied the knot in Las Vegas last week as she was being interviewed by Louis Vuitton for the prestigious event on Monday.
Before the 23-year-old actress and her 29-year-old hubby hit the pink carpet, Turner was asked to describe this year’s theme, which was “Camp: Notes on Fashion.”

After replying that camp was “hard to define,” the Brit went on to describe the theme using her recent nuptials, cheekily explaining:

“Camp is, um, hard to define. Let me give you an example of camp. I think camp is, um, getting married in Vegas last minute after the Billboard Music Awards [because] that would be fun. I’d like to try that. That’s camp.”

LOLz!
Some light Googling results in the following definition of camp: “deliberately exaggerated and theatrical in style, typically for humorous effect.” So, technically she’s not wrong!
After all, the couple’s Sin City wedding was all kinds of exaggerated and theatrical: they said their vows in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Vegas Strip. The fact that Diplo served as the ceremony’s videographer only upped the camp factor.

Before her interview was over, Turner seemingly poked fun at herself for letting the wedding confirmation slip, quipping:

“I can’t keep a secret … whatever.”

Ha! She’s more like Sansa Stark than we thought! (Let’s just hope Joe doesn’t tell her he’s secretly a Cyrus or something. Gurl will blab that to Nick Jonas in a heartbeat.)
While the Turner-Jonas wedding came as a surprise to many, Jesse Grice, the Elvis impersonator, said he was told about the event a week beforehand. TMZ previously reported that the couple reserved the space from 8 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday and applied for a marriage license earlier in the day.

Despite already having walked down the aisle, the newlyweds are still said to be exchanging vows in France this summer as they previously planned — but that event will likely be more of a celebration of their marriage rather than a second wedding.
Sophie using her wedding to define “camp” once again proves that she and the pop-rocker are made for — and crazy about — each other.
Back in March, she gushed over how much her then-fiancé meant to her, telling Glamour U.K.:

“A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness. That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am — and find my happiness in things other than acting.”

Awww!
We wish them a lifetime of camp and happiness together!
