Taylor Swift has been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker who has allegedly threatened to “rape” and “kill” her.
According to TMZ on Friday, 26-year-old Eric Swarbrick (insert above) has allegedly been sending the singer horrifying letters since September 2016.

Some of the alleged messages include:
“I want to rape Taylor Swift. This is why I hate Taylor herself… This is how I know I am Taylor’s soulmate.”
“I have learned to absolutely repress the metaphorical monster in me, but, very soon, I will become completely responsible for myself … What logical conclusion is there other than death.”
“I will not hesitate to kill her… and there’s nothing you, your lawyers, or the law will be about to do about it. Remember who I am.”
According to legal documents filed by the musician’s lawyers, the alleged letters have become increasingly frightening — causing Swift to have stress, fear, and anxiety.
Her counsel fears Swarbrick will act on his alleged threats.
The judge has ordered the alleged stalker to stop contacting Swift, and to distance himself from her and her property.
