This was a tough episode of Teen Mom OG to watch!
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been fighting through some tough marriage challenges for a while now, but it all came to a head on MTV Monday night, when the pair decided to take some time apart just after announcing their new pregnancy.

Things started to go south for the longtime couple — who had been together since middle school — just after revealing that Catelynn was once again pregnant, and the pair went off to a couples retreat in Sedona, Arizona.
The retreat didn’t exactly take, though both opened up quite a bit about their ongoing marriage struggles, with the momma revealing the whole situation to cameras first (below):
“Getting pregnant was unexpected since we still have a lot of work to do on our relationship. I was devastated at first, but now that I’ve started my own therapy, I’m more comfortable with the idea. Basically all I want to share with the cameras is that me and you learned that we’ve been together for so long that it’s like ‘Who are you as a person by yourself?’ Am I jumping of joy for it? No.”
Wow!
And even though the decision to take some time apart blindsided them both, Catelynn was quick to note that the pair was NOT planning on seeing other people — and neither one had made any mention of divorce.
She explained to producers (below):
“I even texted him and asked him, ‘Is there somebody else?’ He was like, ‘What the f**k, do you think that I would cheat on you?’ And I’m like, in my heart of hearts, no, but it was just so blindsided. I feel like the separation thing for me is going to be hard, but it’ll be good for me in a way. Then I have time to just focus on me and Nova. It’s always been Cate and Ty, Cate and Ty, Cate and Ty, just giving each of us room to grow on our own.”
