Watch The Voice's Knockout Performances That Made Miley Cyrus Nervous, Frustrated Alicia Keys, & Led To Adam Levine's BIG MISTAKE!

The competition was fierce during the first knockout round of The Voice on Monday, and no one was more nervous than Miley Cyrus!
The pop star and freshman coach admitted it was “so scary” to be this far along in the competition, but she felt much more at ease once the contestants started knocking their performances out of the park.

However, not everything went smoothly. While trying to give a critique, Alicia Keys noted she couldn’t get a word in over Adam Levine and Blake Shelton‘s banter. Let her speak, boys!
Of course, the real show-stopping moments came from the performances — but which contestants ended up moving on to the next round? Find out (below)!

Team Alicia is stacked! This season’s fan favorite W├â┬⌐ McDonald continued her hot streak with a stunning rendition of No More Drama by Mary J. Blige (above).
The 17-year-old singer’s powerhouse vocals brought down the house, successfully defeating her opponent Courtnie Ramirez — who totally gave We a run for her money with a soulful performance of Beyonc├â┬⌐‘s If I Were A Boy (below)!

One of the most shocking coach decisions of the night (and possibly the show’s history) was Adam’s questionable choice to pick the Sinatra-esque awkward teen Riley Elmore over top notch singer/performer/entertainer Jason Warrior!

Riley doggy paddled his way through Michael Buble‘s I Just Haven’t Met You Yet (above) while Jason straight up owned the stage performing Luke JamesI Want You (below). So we were totally shocked when the Maroon 5 frontman picked the former.
Luckily, Jason was snagged by a thirsty-for-talent Blake…

Another shocking elimination was Lauren Diaz, whose sultry performance of Andra Day‘s Rise Up (below) didn’t rise to expectations enough to move on to the next round. At least she went out on a high note (literally)!

Are YOUR favorite contestants still in the running? Watch the second night of knockout rounds tonight at 8 p.m. EST on NBC!
