For the past few months, The Walking Dead has been teasing us with Daryl Dixon’s sexuality.
When fans began noticing we never really see sexy Norman Reedus getting his freak on with anyone on the show, they began to ask if the badass redneck with a heart of gold was maybe in the closet?

Well, series creator Robert Kirkman finally, definitively answered that question on Sunday’s Talking Dead.
And we’re guessing the answer is going to upset some TWD fans. He said:
“Daryl Dixon is actually straight.”
Awww! No WONDER everyone said the midseason finale would be such a tearjerker! LOLz!
But at least Kirkman gave disappointed fans a silver lining:
“Coming back in our next half of the season, we are going to be introducing a very prominent gay character from the comics.”
So at least there’s that.
Now if only that character could make out with Daryl…
