WTF! The Walking Dead Totally Just Killed A Fan Fave Out Of NOWHERE!

***WARNING: Contains The Walking Dead Spoilers***
That was a lot to handle.
The Walking Dead is just two episodes away from its sure-to-be bloody 90-minute Season Six finale, but our survivors still don’t seem too concerned by The Saviors.
While what we’ve seen from Negan’s group so far has set the bar pretty low, the Alexandrians were a little too relaxed in their new expanded world during Sunday’s all-new episode… and someone unfortunately paid the price for it.

Believe it or not, we finally got a Rosita (Christian Serratos) episode as Denise (Merritt Wever) invited her and Daryl (Norman Reedus) on a supply run to a nearby apothecary.
Road trip!

We’re not sure why she felt confident enough to leave her patients behind now when she told Tara (Alanna Masterson) the doctor had to stay behind just two episodes ago, but whatever.
Elsewhere, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) was getting some character development of his own as he worked with Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) to create a bullet-making factory.

The pair seemed to be operating quite well together, until Abe questioned Eugene’s survival skills, abandoning him outside the walls.
The rest of the episode played out rather expectedly with Denise capping their adventure with an epic speech building Rosita and Daryl up… until she got SHOT IN THE FREAKIN’ EYE!!!

Out of nowhere! Mid-sentence!
Dwight (Austin Emilio) finally returned — with Daryl’s trusted crossbow — and accidentally shot Denise in the head while aiming for Daryl.
But he wasn’t alone, because Eugene somehow managed to get captured by the group of Saviors…
Thankfully, Eugene wasn’t totally useless as he threw Abraham under the bus to gain a few seconds to think of a plan, which resulted in the biting of Dwight’s man-bits!

Ouch! He got away, but his face isn’t going to be the only thing with scars…
We’re just glad Denise got her soda before getting murdered, especially since her plot line with Tara was nowhere near finished.

Oh, and then Carol (Melissa McBride) up and decided to leave Alexandria out of nowhere due to her inner conflicts about killing so many people last week… but having her abandon her friends so close to an all out war seems like a poor character choice.
Maybe she just needs a little spirit quest to clear her head.
Who knows who we’ll lose next when The Walking Dead airs the penultimate episode of Season Six on Sunday, March 27 at 9 p.m. EST on AMC!
