Nothing sucks harder than getting a tattoo of your boo only to break up with them later.
Unfortunately, that’s what Kat von D did with the childhood image of notorious Jesse James.
And, of course, they split.
On Thursday’s premiere of L.A. Ink, she explained the decision:
He had a rough childhood, so to see what he’s become from there, it’s amazing. That’s why I wanted the picture of him as a child, to capture that certain innocence. It was good having him beside me while we finished. The tattoo is a way of him recognizing somebody loves him.
Oooooh, man, love is so blind.
Speaking of love, she also explained how they got together in the first place:
We were friends forever so I thought dating would be weird. I never saw him like that. and once you’re in my friend zone, that’s usually it. But one day something in my heart said, ‘How’s your friend Jesse?’ so I texted him a joke and he came right back saying he hadn’t laughed in weeks.
Such a shame another woman’s heart is broken because of this man.
Kat, you know you deserve better. Put your big girl panties on and push on through this ish.
