Christian Bale Arrested

Christian Bale was arrested in London today in connection with assault charges brought against him by his mother and sister.
The incident apparently occurred in his hotel on Sunday.
The actor is currently being questioned by police.
He has yet to release a statement.
Update:
He has handed himself into police voluntarily over the mysterious domestic feud.
He went to Belgravia police station in central London earlier today and is still there, being held in custody.
When asked if Bale had been arrested, a police spokesman said "A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."
His family is not talking.
Don't believe a word of it. The press will ALWAYS make things sound worse than they are. Let's wait and hear an OFFICIAL report and from Christian himself. sounds like a family squabble to me and a jealous mom & sis cried wolf! Good luck CB!!!

I'm a big fan of Christian's, he's always come across as a serious actor that is dedicated and keeps his private and professional life seperate. I saw an interview with him on breakfast TV on Monday from The Dorchester and he was pretty non-communicative and a bit cold, which seemed a bit weird. It could be true (i hope it's not!), but it seems more likely that his family are trying to sabotage the biggest moment of his career - right before the UK premiere too. Makes you think that if a mother would shop her own son and it turns out not to be true, then you're better off without them.

okay, so i love, love, love him! there must be some misunderstanding! at least that is what i'm hoping. something is up with the mother and sister. they must have it out for him. i mean he is at the height of his career now, and they must be wanting some publicity for themselves; maybe some money.
Since it has come to light that his mom and sister probably greatly exaggerated the situation, I'm guessing they were trying to cash in on his fame. I feel bad for Christian. He seems intensely private and his mom and sister know that so shame on them for exploiting the situation.
