Halle Berry is back!

The Oscar winning actress just sign on for The Hive, which is about a 911 call center, where she plays a 911 emergency operator who must face her own fears in order to save a teenage girl from a disturbed killer.

Sounds terrifying! Ahh!

After keeping us guessing over their mystery marital-status-to-be, Halle Berry and boyfriend fiancee (!) Olivier Martinez confirmed their engagement this past week.

And propose Martinez did, with QUITE the emerald gem!

Okay, it's FOR REAL for real this time.

Yeah, we've told you a few times already that Halle Berry is engaged to her Frenchman Olivier Martinez.

But now we know it's true!

And how do we know?

The actor confirmed it himself!

When asked the big question while promoting his new South Beach restaurant Villa Azur, Olivier said:

It looks like Olivier Martinez is playing Gabriel Aubry in this sneak peek of a scene from Halle Berry's latest thriller, Dark Tide.

Minus the deep blue sea and looming threat of man-eating sharks, he kind of is, because his character is Halle's former lover. And it looks like they don't get along either.

Another small victory for Halle Berry's baby daddy!

As of today the dependency court case against Gabriel Aubry has been dropped.

Families only need to go to dependency court when they concerns over the well-being of their child. Now that Halle's ex has been deemed safe, he and the movie star can head back over to family court, to continue epic custody war over 3-year-old Nahla.

The tot's safety with her father was first questioned a few months ago when Halle Berry's nanny accused Aubry of physically and mentally abusing her.

The case isn't even close to being over.

It's pretty obvi Halle will stop at NOTHING to scar get full custody of her child.

And so the drama continues...

Halle Berry is pulling out the big guns to make sure her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry doesn't write a tell-all book about her.

She's working hard to get him to sign a non-disclosure agreement, but sources say that it's going to cost Halle big time since Gabriel seems to want to hurt Halle, especially financially.

Sources say that he's tired of being portrayed as "an abusive father, a racist, and a fool," and is being urged by pals to write a book about his relationship with Halle. He's even allegedly being approached by publishers in tune of a six-figure paycheck.

The insiders add:

"Gabe has finally woken up and is going for the money because he knows there is no way he can fight to keep his daughter without it. If he doesn't get the money he wants from Halle, he is going to go ahead a write a tell-all. Gabe has two separate high six figure offers on the table from NY publishers. Halle is terrified of this happening; it's her worst nightmare come true -- and she's talking settlement money but locking Gabe into a non disclosure deal. So one way or another he's going to get paid.

Gabe has taken a lot of flack without fighting back, but now the gloves are off and he's going all out."

This can only damage their daughter Nahla. WTF is he even thinking? If he writes a tell-all, then he WILL prove to the world that his parenting skills should be questioned and that he has questionable motives when it comes to Nahla and Halle.

Halle Berry's baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is getting ridiculous!

As if the two don't have enough problems with their custody demands, now Gabriel is asking that Halle pays him enough per month so that he can live in an expensive home.

In new legal docs that were filed, Gabriel asked the family judge to force Halle to pay him somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 a month. He also wants a "very large" amount of money for clothing for Nahla and money to take her to Canada to visit his family.

Naturally, Halle plans on fighting back and will say her peace when the two go back to court on April 9.

During the same hearing, the judge will also rule on whether or not take away some of Gabriel's custody rights, which will have an impact on how much child support Halle should pay out to him.

Oh boy. Just when we thought things couldn't get messier....
