On Monday, a suspect was arrested in connection to the Waffle House shooting in Nashville on Sunday, according to the New York Times.
On Sunday morning, officials believe Travis Reinking entered the establishment and killed four — Akilah Dasilva, 23; DeEbony Groves, 21; Joe R. Perez, 20; and Taurean C. Sanderlin, 29. Four others were reportedly wounded.

While the gunman, naked aside from a green jacket, was reloading, customer James Shaw Jr. reportedly wrestled the AR-15 rifle away from the suspect, preventing more casualties. After the alleged attack, the 29-year-old suspect fled the restaurant.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Reinking was arrested in a wooded area near Old Hickory Blvd & Hobson Pike.
Last July, the person in question was arrested near the White House after allegedly crossing a security barrier in an attempt to meet President Donald Trump.
In August, Reinking — who at the time lived in Morton, Illinois — was forced to surrender three rifles and a handgun to officials, who then gave the weapons to his father, Jeffrey Reinking. Nashville police reportedly believe Travis' father gave the firearms back to his son.
According to the Associated Press, Jeffrey "could potentially" face charges for allegedly returning the rifles.
