Whitney Houston's death will always be sad, but if Whitney could know it, we'd hope it'd bring her peace to know that her death may have saved a life.

Mary J. Blige turned to religion to help her with her drinking problem after Whitney's death.

Despite it being Justin Timberlake's highly anticipated return to the Grammys stage and CRAZY collaboration performances including an Elton John & Ed Sheeran duet and a Rihanna/Sting/Bruno Mars tribute to Bob Marley…

The 55th Grammy awards were DOWN 27% in ratings compared to last year's somber event, which took place the DAY after Whitney Houston's tragic death. The 54th Annual Grammys drew in almost 39 million viewers.

Yep, even Carrie Underwood's reality defying virtual gown couldn't secure more viewers than last year's show.

BUT it's not ALL bad news!

The Grammys DID manage to score the TOP ratings Sunday night, garnering 28.1 million viewers!!!

Wooo hooo!

Not too shabby, CBS!

Today marks the one year anniversary of the day that we lost one of music’s most legendary and iconic singers, Whitney Houston.

While it’s hard to believe that a year has already passed, we know her music and that beautiful smile of hers will forever and always live on.

Though many will try, none will ever come close to the absolutely amazing talent that she was.

We can't even begin to imagine what she's going through right now, but it's still very sad to see her resorting to this kind of behavior.

It's close to the one year anniversary of the day Whitney Houston passed away hours before Clive Davis' 2012 Pre-Grammy Gala, thanks to a fatal cocktail of pills, cocaine, and marijuana - and sadly, it seems that in order to cope with the untimely, supremely tragic loss of her mother, Bobbi Kristina is relying on drugs herself.

Friday afternoon, she and her ex-fiance Nick Gordon were spotted out in public in Atlanta passing between themselves what one could argue was just a hand-rolled cigarette, but was most likely a joint!

It’s almost been a year since the great Whitney Houston passed away before Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party.

And now that it’s that time of year again, many have been wondering what will happen with the legendary bash.

Clive and the Recording Academy will not only be honoring Whitney at the party this year, but it will still be held at the same hotel where the singer was found dead and in the same ballroom where the news was broken to guests.

And while we don’t know what is yet planned for the tribute to Whitney, we do know her family has been invited which has one of them PISSED.

Whitney’s mom, Cissy Houston, is outraged Clive would invite her to a party where her daughter passed away as she commented:
