USA! USA! USA! USA!

Christopher Duffley was born prematurely, weighing less than two pounds at birth and rendered blind right from the beginning of his life — but that hasn't stopped him from being an incredible example of inspiration!

On Monday, he was on hand at the MLB game between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians at historic Fenway Park to deliver the National Anthem… and did he ever!!

The 14-year-old is no stranger to performing the anthem in front of people. He's apparently been at Fenway Park twice before, as well as performances at NASCAR races and elsewhere, so this was a breeze for him — but that didn't make it any less awesome!!

Ch-ch-check out Duffley go all in on the Star Spangled Banner (below) and even work through a microphone malfunction, because he's pretty much a badass:

But forget all that, because the real reason the star slugger is having a big year is that he's opened up to himself and his teammates: he's gay! And he's made history, too, as he's now the first openly gay active player in the minor leagues.

After coming out to his family this spring, Denson finally decided to tell his teammates in the clubhouse, and it went better than the minor leaguer had ever hoped. Denson told reporters:

This is so sad.

A nine-year-old baseball lover, Kaiser Carlile, was working as a bat boy for his local baseball team in Kansas when the worst kind of tragedy struck this past weekend.

Kaiser was running to get a bat between pitches for his beloved Liberal Bee Jays when the next batter coming to the plate didn't see him, and accidentally hit him in the head with a bat during a warmup swing.

Carlile was immediately attended to — the home plate umpire coincidentally had EMS training — and was later rushed to the hospital, but it wasn't meant to be, and the nine-year-old passed away on Sunday night.

A witness to the event, Malachi Lingg, told reporters what happened:

MLB has yet to offer an official explanation for the change, but it's possible they're just trying to get ahead of backlash for Ariana's weird "I hate America" donut-spitting video.

After all, they use donuts on their bats you guys. They just can't risk it. LOLz!

Anyway, what do YOU think??
