PETA Helps To Rescue 17 Bears From Prison-Like Zoo

PETA helps rescue 17 bears from awful conditions and got them into a good animal sanctuary!

Thanks to PETA, Sam Simon, The Wild Animal Sanctuary, and the Atlanta Humane Society, 17 bears have been rescued from awful conditions!

They were taken away from the concrete pits at the Black Forest Bear Park in Helen, Georgia.

The conditions there looked absolutely unBEARable!

They were stuck in their prison-like environment, forced to beg for scraps from tourists.

Now, they live on 60-acres of green grass at the The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado!

They have their own dens and access to top notch veterinary services!!

Best part? At the zoo, their babies were taken away from them immediately after birth, but at the sanctuary… they get to keep their cubs!!

Aaron Paul Posts FAB Pic Of Pretty In Pink Bryan Cranston Holding Bear

| Filed under: TV NewsCute!Aaron PaulBear

Aaron Paul posted the CUTEST pic of Bryan Cranston holding a teddy bear!

Aaron Paul kinda just posted the best picture ever…

It's of his former Breaking Bad costar Bryan Cranston and we could not be happier to see it.

Aaron Paul posted the incrediballs pic (above) and wrote simply:

"I miss this man"

Awww! He misses his show bro!

We would too, especially if he wore something like this all the time.

Cranston in a pink sweater, holding onto the symbolic pink teddy bear from Season 2 of Breaking Bad is just the best.

We're gonna miss their characters but probably not as much as they'll miss each other.

Talented Bear Plays Tetherball!!

Wow! This is seriously AH-mazing!!!

We always knew bears were super smart and could perform tricks (like in cruel circuses) but this is something else!

A bear was recently spotted playing tetherball all by himself!!

He begins by just kind of investigating and messing with the ball but then…

He literally starts batting it with his paw and wrapping it around the pole!!

Then, the most incredible thing happened… it wrapped all the way up, so he started hitting it the other way!

This bear is not only cute, but so super freakin' smart, we're losing our minds!!

Check out the video (above) to watch a bear literally play tetherball!

Animal Activists Get Chinese Circus Shut Down!

| Filed under: Animal RightsHorsesLionsBearCircusAnimal Cruelty

Chinese circus shut down for animal cruelty!!

Believe it or not, China regulations ban animal performances in circuses.

Though that doesn't stop illegal circuses from still having them.

The Jinan Animal Carnival Festival had promotional materials that made it look like there were fire juggling bears, goat riding monkeys and tigers riding horses.

That all sounds ahmayzing for a cartoon or something but ridiculously dangerous and cruel in real life.

Animal rights activists estimate that hundreds of these illegal performances go on each year!

A member of an animal protection group in Asia that's been documenting the use of animals in shows said:

Giant Mechanical Polar Bear Leads Greenpeace Protest

| Filed under: Mama NatureBearPolar Bear

Greenpeace walked a giant polar bear through Central London in protest of Arctic drilling!

Around 3,000 environmentally conscious, caring people marched through the streets of central London as a half protest, half performance demonstration.

They were coming out against oil companies in the Arctic and they were led by a giant mechanical polar bear!!

The giant beast was the size of a double decker bus and required 15 puppeteers and 20 volunteers to walk it down Lambeth Palace Road towards Shell headquarters.

The giant bear led protesters on a call to ban oil and gas drilling in the Arctic as this would affect the habitat of polar bears and could affect the entire environment!

We're pretty sure if you want to send a message and get noticed, a giant, 3-ton bear is certainly a good way to do it! Ha!

Hopefully the gas companies got the message: "Stop messing up the Arctic or we'll use our giant bear to eat your office buildings!"

Or something along those lines. LOLz!
