We never knew he had any issues, but apparently Bo Bice had been hitting the bottle a little bit too hard in the past. Fortunately, the American Idol alum has been sober since last October!
While appearing at an Autism Speaks event in Nashville, the singer revealed:
Dr. Drew called in to the Adam Corolla radio show this morning to talk about Whitney Houston… and the flak he's getting from Whoopi Goldberg because of it!
Apparently people have been getting racial vibes from Whoopie's opposition to Dr. Drew being able to talk about the incident. We're not sure we totally picked up on them ourselves, but people can believe what they want!
In addition to talking about the flak, Dr. Drew makes some interesting points and observations about the singer's death!
Yuck! This makes us think TWICE about playing beer pong again!
In a recent episode of Life Changers, Dr. Drew is concerned that two twin sisters enjoy drinking alcohol much more than they should.
To prove that there are serious physical dangers of alcoholism, he showed the girls a normal liver and a liver that has suffered cirrhosis, the final phase of chronic liver disease.
We don't want to spoil it for you, but it ain't pretty!
Check out the video above to learn about just one of the dangers of drinking too much alcohol.
Admitting you have a problem is the first step to solving it, so bravo!
Pauline Potter, recently crowned the heaviest woman alive by the Guinness World Records, wants to shed the weight that got her in the spotlight, but will need some help to do it.
She told Dr. Drew that even before she tipped the scales at 700 pounds to become the heaviest woman alive, she knew she needed a healthy change.
After writing to television personalities like Oprah, Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil only to never hear back, she decided to contact the Guinness World Records to share her story with the public in hopes of getting help she needs.
While we don't agree with relying on assistance from celebrities to lose weight, at least Pauline had a healthy goal in mind.
Check out her interview with Dr. Drew above to find out how she got so big and how her size impacts her quality of life.
We hope she finally gets in contact with somebody who can assist her with the weight loss journey that lies ahead.
For anyone else struggling with excessive weight, do not sit around and wait for the help you need. Get up and FIND IT!
Former NBA player and Celebrity Rehab alumni Dennis Rodman celebrated his birthday (which was in May, oddly enough) and launch of his WB Brand Cigar line at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
Cigars? Yuck!
Many people tend to think that cigars are somehow safer or "better" for your body than cigarettes, however, this is NOT the case!
In fact, one cigar contains as much nicotine and cancer-causing chemicals as SEVERAL cigarettes. Smoking them will only increase your risk factor for cancer of the mouth, throat, larynx, gullet (esophagus) and lung, and also increase your risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
We wish the 50-year-old a long and happy life, but don't think those cigars are helping that wish come true. Let's hope he at least made Dr. Drew proud and stayed sober!

By now, we're sure plenty of people have heard about the family in Toronto, Canada who are keeping the gender of their newborn child, Storm, a secret in an effort to raise him/her as gender-free.
Why?
So Storm has the freedom to choose who Storm wants to be without any influences that come from gender association.
There are definitely some pros and cons being thrown into the ring as the world discusses this radical parenting decision, but Dr. Drew asks the question whether or not the parents should be concerned about the world they are sending Storm into.
Check out the video above and join the discussion below! Do U think allowing a child to select their own gender is a good or bad idea?
