She admits she isn't perfect and often falls "by the wayside", as the actress explained:
"I do watch what I eat and try to eat healthily but I frequently fall by the wayside. Right now, I'm drinking protein shakes mid morning and I think they really help. I also don't eat raw fruits and vegetables after 4pm and follow a low-fat diet with very little dairy."
She should trademark that diet because it has been working for her! The lovely actress is definitely an inspiration to us all.

Katy Perry went on the 5-factor plan, which was developed by Harley Pasternak, to get into shape before her wedding. The way it works is you eat five times a day (two bigger meals, three smaller, snack meals) and exercise for 25 minutes a day, five days a week. Perry dropped two dress sizes on the diet.
Emily Blunt — Tracy Anderson Workout
Emily married John Krasinski last year, but no before she toned up with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson. Emily worked out five days a week and said it was super hard. But it paid off!
Elizabeth Hurley — The Caveman Diet
The Caveman diet is pretty self-explanatory — eat like a caveman. Elizabeth Hurley only ate plants and animals consumed by hunter-gatherers of the Paleolithic era. Apparently, it flattened her stomach in a week. Mission accomplished, caveman style.

And it was all in the name of fighting breast cancer!
Among the landmarks were the Empire State Building, the Sydney Opera House, and the Taj Majal.

Elizabeth Hurley seems to defy all conventions. On Monday she tweeted that at 45 she still has all-natural, bikini-ready breasts, and today she tweeted about how she swears by eating next to nothing for breakfast.
“Btw my diet survived the onslaught of phenomenal vacation food-doctors disagree, but I swear by almost nothing for breakfast for adults.”
While this goes against the adage of breakfast being the more important meal of the day, Hurley’s slim figure can back up her claim.
“Mugs of hot water first thing, maybe an espresso and a few oat cakes mid morning.”
Oat cakes are a type of high-fiber British cracker that typically have around 50 calories.
If you’re struggling with your eating routine, maybe give the “Hurley-breakfast” a try. But be careful not to over-eat later in the day!
