Former Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler left her position as Miss California co-director when the Carrie Prejean incident got pretty heated earlier this year.

But Shanna has now returned to the organization she's announced.. Her love for pageantry brought her back.

Moakler explains:

"I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for pageants. And the reason I got involved is because I wanted to give back to girls, and I really believe that girls that are involved in pageants are ambitious, driven women who are trying to set themselves apart from the pack."

Right!

Shanna stood by the Miss California organization's decision to strip Carrie Prejean of her Miss California title after Prejean missed public appearances and a nude photo scandal.

Though Carrie is flouncing around all over town claiming she lost her title due to her shiteous opinion of gay marriage, Shanna declares it was because of her shady behavior under her contract:

"Well the thing for me, like I said before, it was never about her opinion. And this is something, I repeat, there has never been a beauty queen - and we have tons of religious conservative beauty queens around the country - there has never been a beauty queen that has been dethroned because of her religious views. But, there have been many that have had their crowns taken away for breaching their contract."

See, Carrie, your crown wasn't stripped because you're a hateful bitch, but because you're flaky and slutty!

Sort of.

Shanna Moakler recently made a less than polite comment when talking about Khloe Kardashian on The Wendy Williams Show. In what she called an "off-the-cuff statement", Shanna called Khloe a "donkey."

Uncalled for?

It took Khloe perhaps a millisecond to hee-haw Tweet out her opinions back, saying: "I have no idea who this girl is but I guess she is talking about me. Talk on honey… I can care less LOL."

Cared enough to comment on it!

Then, whether because she genuinely felt bad or feared the wrath of Kardashian, Shanna expressed her regret over the whole thing, explaining that she was just being "gossipy" and that she didn't mean to start drama:

"I feel really bad. I shouldn't have said it…I was there to talk about me being officially back as co-executive director of the Miss California Pageant, hosting the pageant this year and my new makeup line."

Funny how none of that would have been of have been mentioned in the press had you not opened with the donkey comment.

As we mentioned earlier, Miss USA reject Carrie Prejean has sued the Miss California USA organization, and pageant organizers, Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler.

Just hours after the suit came to light, Shanna is speaking out.

Her attorney says:

"On Ms. Moakler's behalf, I can say unequivocally that Ms. Prejean's lawsuit is without merit.

More importantly, as everyone who watched or read her public statements is well aware, Ms. Prejean's unfortunate and bigoted statements are responsible for any public humiliation or damages to her reputation that she has claimed to have suffered.

Ms. Moakler strenuously denies that she did anything wrong and looks forward to proving that in a court of law."

Well said.

Also named in the suit is publicist Roger Neal, though noticeably absent is pageant owner Donald Trump.

So she sues everyone except the man that owns it and runs it all? Looks like Prejean knows she can't fight the Donald! But she'll definitely go after the smaller heads.

Plus, we're sure it'll make for some juicy content for her book/interviews.

We knew it was just a matter of time!

We first reported back in July that Miss USA reject Carrie Prejean was threatening to sue the Miss California Organization cause the dumb bitch is a sore loser.

She wanted to sue the org and the pageant organizers, Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, for slander, libel, public disclosure of private facts, religious discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

But Prejean was quick to dismiss it all, claiming she was not filing suit and the paperwork was just a "precaution."

However, Carrie has gone back on her word (no surprise) and she's now legally filed suit against the heads of the Miss California org, claiming she was prosecuted and forced out because of her religious beliefs.

WTF?

She's also claiming that starting April 21st, officials "conspired to get rid of her" after she publicly stated that she's "biblically correct" and not politically correct.

Carrie has even gone as far as to claim that the officials have "fabricated a fraudulent list of some 50 public appearances allegedly missed by Prejean which they released to the media in order to justify her termination as Miss California USA." Adding that they tried to "set up Prejean to have her dismissed as Miss California USA by asking her to do a Playboy photo shoot for $120,000."

Puh-lease!

This is just a desperate ploy for attention!

We smell a big settlement request in the works.

Here we go again!

As you'll read, this is the third time Shanna Moakler has taken to her MySpace blog to personally address the issues being speculated upon concerning her and her ex Travis Barker.

We commend her for using her blog - it shows she is willing to write more than 140 characters defending herself.

Here is what Shanna wrote:

Current mood: annoyed

This is about the 3rd time I have had to come to my blog to defend myself when dealing with my ex. I have said over and over I do not find playing personal relations in the media anything I want to be a part of! I have taken great strides to not be a part of it or the mudslinging have tried to bite my tongue and be the one to take the higher road for some time now. AGAIN I am backed into a corner, I will not bash my ex, as that IS the father of my two children and someone regardless what he thinks, I love very much and will always love. relationships change, people grow apart and life takes you different places. No matter how close the general public may think they are to two people. you never know what truly goes on behind closed doors and it is wrong to judge on either part.

I am VERY aware that one day my children will grow up and read what is on the internet. THAT is why I have tried every avenue to stop the abusive and false accusations which only hurts them in the long run, I have also tried to change how I interact on the internet as well.

let me make something else very clear and the fact I AGAIN have to do this, is vile. I have a ZERO tolerance for pedophiles and if you touch a child in my eyes, you should be sterilized. you're rights taken away. I think it is not only ABSURD to suggest I would ever allow my child remotely near such a thing. this accusation is false and cruel and publicly damaging. not to mention I also have blogged and wrote my senators to help pass the child protection ACT.

I think running to social networks to slander others only draws negative attention, begins falsehoods for both parties. I have cooperated with my ex in every measure he has asked. I allowed my children to go on tour for 4 weeks with their father, I make visitation as easy as possible, I am even willing to take a tour bus home to ease his tensions with the children flying, a 3 days drive, I have worked with our family attorneys to sign any stipulations to put to rest any insecurities he may have, many which I believe stem from my ex's horrible plane crash and the post traumatic syndrome he suffers from.

I also have another daughter from a previous relationship before Travis, and I know what it takes to keep a child happy and healthy, well balanced and loved through a public break up. I also work with my first ex and have over the past 10 years and have never had an issue. I make great strides everyday to ensure the well being of my kids, so they can grow into confident healthy adults. I do not post pictures of my kids on the internet anymore, I keep them away from the paparazzi, I live outside of LA to give them as much "normalcy" as possible. I wish I was able to give my children the childhood i had growing up including their parents being together. Living in the spotlight and going through a divorce changes that. Such is life. I am still VERY confident in my ability to give them the well balanced, beautiful childhood they deserve, and have. Free of public humiliation and anyone who truly knows me personally or has seen me with my children knows this. I am a AMAZING mother, who loves and will protect her children fiercely! any other notion would be simply ridiculous!

More details have come to light about Monday's dramatic fight between Travis and Shanna, which led to Moakler calling the cops on Barker!

Travis believed Shanna's "uncle", a convicted child molester, was at the Moakler family home in Rhode Island when Barker arrived to drop off the kids with Shanna. Travis spotted what he believed to be Moakler's uncle's car on the street.

Note: Sources close to Moakler tell us the man Barker believes is her uncle is not and is definitely not a member of her family.

Police say Barker didn't "want to leave the kids in the residence with a pedophile and wanted a certified nanny with the kids."

Makes sense to us!

Well, after Shanna called the cops on Barker, police searched the home for Moakler's "uncle", quickly realizing the convicted pedophile was not at the family's home.

Barker finally agreed to leave, only after requesting and receiving the names and numbers of two of the nannies helping Shanna take care of the kids.

It's been reported that Shanna then questioned to police on how to obtain restraining order, but nothing has been officially confirmed.

We mentioned this morning that Travis Barker was asked by the cops to leave the home of his ex-wife Shanna Moakler's family after a bitter showdown between the two in Rhode Island on Monday.

We were to understand that the argument was over a nanny Travis wanted to stay with the kids while they were with their mom, which Shanna refused. Now we're told, via Travis' Twitter page that it was something else entirely. Travis explains:

"Would u leave your kids at a house where a child molesters(Rick Sinnott) car was present? Me neither. The REAL reason the cops were involved yesterday."

For those of you who don't remember, Rick Sinnott is alleged Shanna's uncle, an alleged convicted child molester (according to Travis), and Barker has made it very clear he is unwilling to let his kids be in the presence of this man. Along with the Tweet was a picture of Rick's license plate, acting as proof that Rick was at the house when Travis arrived.

Shanna has denied that she has a child-molesting uncle.

He said/she said.

These two need to just work out their beef in court!

We thought these two put their bullshiz aside to focus their attention on the kids!

According to Life & Style Weekly, mayjah drama went down between Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler on Monday - so much so that the cops were called!!!

Seems that Travis was supposed to drop Landon and Alabama off at Shanna's parents' home in Rhode Island, but flipped out when his nanny couldn't stay with Shanna and the children!

"He started screaming and wouldn't leave the kids with her," tells an insider.

The insider says Travis was pissed because Shanna "refused" let his nanny stay, so to retaliate, Travis refused to leave!

Barrington, RI police have confirmed that police were dispatched to the Moakler family home around 4:45 PM on Monday, but refuse to give up any more info on the incident. The source close to the sitch believes Barker was asked by the cops to leave.

So shady!

But now we know what was up with Travis' Tweet from yesterday!

So weak!

Once AGAIN, Travis Barker is taking his private beef with Shanna Moakler to Twitter and airing his dirty laundry with his former wife for the whole world to see.

On Monday, the Blink 182 drummer Tweeted: "My babies mama is a pile of shit."

Shanna has not responded - yet.

Way to keep it classy, Travis!
