A family in Australia was trying to sell its Melbourne home but was having a bit of trouble getting the price it wanted.
That is, until they threw in their family pet and got another $123,062.01 for it!
Talk about a nightmare!
The Trost family bought a beautiful home in Missouri back in October 2007, but it turned out to be a total nightmare!
They found out quickly that the house was infested by 4,500 to 6,000 brown recluse spiders! And that was considered a conservative estimate because it was taken in the less active winter months.
It got so bad that spiders were coming out of the walls, and one even fell out of the ceiling onto
If you ever wanted to check out Abu Dhabi's Liwa Oasis (a very scenic desert), from the comfort of your own home — you're in luck.
Google recently hired a local camel to capture a 'street view,' of the desert by affixing Google's Trekker camera to the animal's hump. Google's trekker camera is usually placed on the top of cars, so this low-tech solution was definitely a first for the company!!
Spiders are terrifying enough as it is… the last thing they need is problem solving skills.
The day spiders learn to open doors is the day we start searching for a new planet.
Proof of spider intelligence was recently found online: photos of a spider web anchored by a stone, suspended in mid-air.
Meet Lazarus the wonder dog!!
Life can throw all sorts of death at him, but he just won't give up. He's survived near fatal heartworms, a car accident, and an even an attempt to euthanize him!!
Lazarus ended up in an Alabama dog shelter after being hit by a car. His owner was moving and no longer able to care for the pup, so they just left him there at the shelter. Poor pup!
The shelter tried to get Lazarus adopted but no one was interested, so less than a month later, a vet came to the shelter and lethally injected him. Normally, this sad story would end here. But not for Lazarus.
