Lindsay Lohan Explains Why Her Accent Keeps Mysteriously Changing

Forget Rosetta Stone,  Lindsay Lohan is actually the master of all languages. Or accents, in her case!
The reality TV starlet recently tried to offer an explanation as to why it mysteriously keeps changing over the years, and TBH it’s about time because we couldn’t think of a reason ourselves. LOLz.

In a sit-down interview with ET discussing her upcoming reality TV show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, the former child actress addressed it with a pretty simple answer.
Lohan says she’s influenced by all the people she’s interacted with and places she’s lived in, including Dubai, Mykonos and Athens, Greece. Even her business partner, Panos Spentzos, (who appears on the show) has rubbed off on LiLo:

“Well, I think it’s because actresses even, I think when I’m around certain dialects it changes each time — Panos even — and you just pick things up along the way.”

So… is she just learning a few method acting techniques for the future or what? Because it still feels weird that someone’s entire way of speaking can change so drastically in the blink of an eye.
The 32-year-old continued to spill that some of her accents can come back stronger, depending on her current location:

“Well, a little bit of New Yorker, they all start to come back.”

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has offered up an explanation, either. Remember back in 2016 when she said her style of speaking changes because she’s taking up a few new languages? Yeah, we didn’t quite buy it then either…
Either way, Lohan’s American accent has been going strong through her promo tour for her show, so here’s to hoping that’s the accent we’ll get when it finally premieres Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
