2011 Restaurant Trends: Healthier Food And Electronic Menus

2011 will bring some big changes to the restaurant industry. A market research firm has let us in out what they believe will be the newest trends in food during 2011.

One new trend will be stealthily making foods healthier, similar to how Taco Bell has been reducing sodium in their menu items without advertising it.

Another trend will be the use of high-tech menus via mobile phone applications. Using authentic ingredients for ethnic foods, as well as buying produce from local farmers will be an important part of 2011 restaurants.

All we know is that we’ll be going out to eat a lot in 2011!
