It looks like the entire sport of football is doing everything they can to sever their ties to Aaron Hernandez, and we can’t say we blame them!
The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio recently announced they would be removing a photograph of the former New England Patriot from their halls after a few visitors complained!
The award-winning pic was taken by Mary Schwalm and was titled “Thrill and Agony.” The picture (similar to the one above) showed Aaron high-stepping into the endzone to celebrate a touchdown while a Green Bay Packers defender buries his head in his hands.
The Pro Football Hall Of Fame’s vice president of communication Joe Horrigan said:
“In the spirit of good taste we thought we├óΓé¼Γäód take it down.”
This move comes in the wake of more than 1,000 Patriots fans exhanging their Hernandez jerseys at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough!
The photograph is certainly a great contrast between the excitement of a touchdown versus the pain of a loss, but it’s probably a wise move by the hall of fame considering Aaron is being investigated for multiple murders!
