Both thought-provoking AND boner-provoking, we see!
Agent Provocateur lived up to its name in their latest ad photos, which revolve around the old-school stereotype of the “ideal” housewife. Model Hailey Clauson poses in seksi lingerie while cleaning a ‘50s themed kitchen.
On the brand’s website, there’s a teasing bit of text that says:
“Filled with sugar-sweet hues, peekaboo lace and girly gingham, our SPRING SUMMER 2014 COLLECTION is inspired by the pristine and glossy 1950s suburban woman. But is at all as perfect as it seems?”
Creative director Sarah Shotton emphasized that the Miles Aldridge-lensed shoot was about re-examining the outdated notion that a woman should be:
“…a lady in the street and a wildcat in the bedroom.”
Inneresting approach, although we’re sure some will find it controversial as its playing on the whole “woman in the kitchen” thing!
Kind of reminds us of Cara Delevingne walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in those bright yellow rubber dishwashing gloves, actually!
