Alex Rodriguez is peeved at a New York City boutique where he took his niece and girlfriend Torrie Wilson on a shopping spree because they won’t give him a refund!
After letting the girls load up the cart with $17,604 worth of merchandise at Blue & Cream and paying for it with a smile on his face, the Yankee got scolded by his sister for spoiling her daughter and tried to return the clothing as a result.
The problem, however, is that the boutique does not and never has issued refunds (only store credit) and don’t plan on making an exception for one of their most famous customers.
A-Rod’s people, including his niece, have contacted the store repeatedly only to be all told the same thing — no refunds! Now the small business has learned that the baseball player is actually disputing the charges he knowingly placed on his American Express Black Card!
Well, Blue & Cream isn’t backing down and have evidence to prove that they have the right to refuse a refund, explaining:
“It’s ridiculous. Completely ridiculous. We have security tapes and coverage of him at the checkout counter. We’re completely not in the wrong.”
If it is stated on the receipt that there are no refunds, then we’d say A-Rod needs to quit being a baby and accept responsibility for his actions. Besides, the EASY solution is to return the clothing and exchange it all for something nice to give Torrie instead!
