A-Rod Lives To See Another Day, MLB Suspensions Are Still Not Announced

alex rodriguez suspension not handed down yet

Well, another day technically, since he’s not really playing.

Alex Rodriguez has been under the scrutiny of Major League Baseball for his alleged PED usage, along with many other players.

However, on Wednesday, Greg Bouris, a spokesman for MLB said that the suspensions are a ways off still, due to “a number of players” which means “a lot of moving parts.”

Sounds like they’re really trying to nail these guys!

Chris Stone, the managing editor at Sports Illustrated had some encouraging things to say, in regard to whether or not A-Rod will get a lifetime ban from the sport where he’s owed $100 million that he loves:

“Baseball claims to have the evidence on its side right now, and to be talking about measures this punitive, they must. I think it’s going to be difficult to get a lifetime ban for Rodriguez in this case because he’s not the first player to use PEDs, and he’s not the first player to be caught lying about PEDs if in fact that’s the case.├óΓé¼┬¥

So at least he may have the chance to play for the Yankees again… eventually.

And when the rulings to come down, A-Rod plans to challenge any suspension at all.

Grab some popcorn folks! This is going to be a doozy!
