Amber Marchese
can’t seem to catch a break!
The former Real Housewives Of New Jersey star, who previously left the show to fight breast cancer for a second time, has now confirmed she also has Lyme disease.

The momma made the reveal to ET on Tuesday, sharing:

“I was officially diagnosed last week.”

Oh wow. We can only imagine the stress of having another battle, though she continued to explain:

“I am very fortunate as I caught it so early that no treatment is necessary. But we are going to monitor it.”

What a relief!
As fellow former housewife Yolanda Hadid showed the world with her public battle with the disease, it can take quite the toll on the body and mind!
Amber even explained:

“About two weeks ago, I had flu-like symptoms which included a low grade fever, headache, aches, chills, joint pain and awful neck pain. I posted my condition on social media and a friend suggested I get tested for Lyme disease. She shared with me her struggles with Lyme disease and we shared many of the same symptoms.”

And she continued to say she requested to be tested for it at her oncologist’s office, and it came back positive.

The 38-year-old maintains she’s getting by, choosing to keep a positive attitude:

“If I thought about the joint pain, then the pain increased. When I ignored it, got my butt to the gym, it went away. I believe in the power of the mind. You are sick if you want to be sick, you are well if you want to be well. That is just the way I choose to live my life.”

The former reality TV starlet copes with her breast cancer in a similar way:

“I am coping by getting my butt to the gym and pushing myself as hard as I can! I enjoy every day as a blessing and focus on my family and friends.”

Amber also added:

“I feel really blessed that I caught it before it is too late. I know so many people suffering from this disease and it sounds horrific.”

She has since taken to Twitter to defend how she has chosen to fight her battles, writing on Wednesday:

Plus, she has also come to Yolanda’s defense, adding:

We’re wishing her all the best as she continues to fight her battles!
