American Idol Alum Posts Suicidal Note To Facebook Blaming His Wife For Everything, But It Totally Saved His Life!

We’re SO relieved to know American Idol alum Josh Gracin is safe.
For those who might not remember, Josh appeared on season 2 of the hit show alongside Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard. Though Josh ended up in fourth place, he created an enduring bond with viewers due to his background as a former marine and committed family man.
Unfortunately on Thursday evening, Josh posted what appeared to be a suicide note on his Facebook page. The disturbing contents of the note explicitly blame his wife of 17 years, Anne Marie Gracin, for his troubles.

Wow, Josh sounds really desperate and angry in his note.
Thankfully a family member took notice of Josh’s cry for help and made the smart decision to alert the authorities. Police eventually tracked down Josh and the country singer is now in the hospital on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
After the death of Idol alum Michael Johns, we don’t think the Idol community could stand to take another loss, so we’re EXTREMELY happy that Josh didn’t take his life.
We sincerely hope Josh works through his personal problems and continues to be there for his wife and 4 kids.
