It looks like the possibility that David Fincher will be directing Cleopatra is getting closer and closer.
While promoting Kung Fu Panda 2 in Cannes, Angelina Jolie confirmed that she’s been in talks with the director to work on the upcoming 3D retelling of Cleopatra.
She says:
“Yes, we just don’t know. It’s all very early. Fincher’s been an old friend, so we’ve always been looking for something to do.
Right now, I’m just producing it. Just want to see it get done.”
And she’s producing too? Excellent!
David Fincher is a FANTASTIC choice and we can totally get behind that. Come on, Dave, just say yes already!
