Meghan Markle just got the real British stamp of approval from none other than Anna Wintour herself!
In a new Vogue video series called “Go Ask Anna”, the famous editor-in-chief takes a set of brutally honest questions from strangers, who ask everything from her take on fashion staples to her thoughts on who’s actually making waves in the industry.
And one lucky stranger totally went for it, asking outright what the fashion mogul really thinks of the Duchess of Sussex, and the look she chose for her royal wedding day.

Just in case you need a refresher, here’s the former Suits star wearing her silk wedding gown designed by Clare Waight Keller, complete with a long flowing train, silk tulle veil, and platinum bandeau tiara on loan from Queen Elizabeth II to marry Prince Harry (below):
Wintour had nothing but high praise for Meghan’s wedding gown, calling it nothing short of a brilliant choice:
“I think she’s amazing and the royal wedding had the whole world watching and I think that her choice was brilliant. It was sophisticated. It was chic. It was grown-up. It was an English designer, albeit one that was working for a French house, which in a way was a message to the world: Yes, I’m from somewhere else, but I belong.”
