AnnaLynne McCord recently hosted a red carpet cocktail event for a great cause!
She lent her 90210 star power to Life is Love, an event that benefitted the Somaly Mam Foundation.
“Somaly Mam is a Cambodian survivor of sex slavery. She was sold at the age of 12. She doesn├óΓé¼Γäót know her age, nor her real name, and she spent nearly a decade in the horrors of Cambodian brothels. But she escaped, and since has aided in the rescue of thousands of women and children. She founded an NGO that rescues, recovers and empowers victims and has become an advocate and global leader in the cause.
The Somaly Mam Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to ending sex slavery and empowering its survivors, based on the vision and life aof activist & survivor Somaly Mam.”
Wow, what a strong woman! She’s fighting back and helping others get out of the awful life that claimed her innocence!
With sex slavery making roughly $9.5 BILLION every year, it’s a pretty huge problem that needs to be taken care of!
Good thing so many celebs came out to support the cause! AnnaLynne was obvi there, but so was Taylor Armstrong, Shay Mitchell, Matt Lanter, Shenae Grimes and many, many more!
