Anton Yelchin's Parents Move To Control Their Late Son's Estate As It's Revealed The Star Trek Actor Didn't Have A Will

After the shocking and sudden death of Anton Yelchin, it’s not surprising to learn the Star Trek actor did NOT have a will.
As you may recall, the late up-and-comer tragically died back in June after his 2015 Jeep Cherokee rolled backwards and pinned him against his security gate. It’s since been confirmed Anton passed away due to “blunt traumatic asphyxia.”

Yelchin’s death not only blindsided his fans, but his loved ones too. So it’s no wonder Anton’s parents Irina and Viktor Yelchin are now trying to settle his affairs.
According to People, back on July 29, Mr. and Mrs. Yelchin filed probate papers in El Lay in order to control their deceased son’s estate. We mean, since the Like Crazy star didn’t leave behind a will, wife, or kids it only makes sense that the Yelchins take over.
Reportedly, the court documents reveal Anton had $731,000 in equity for his residence and had about $641,000 in personal belongings. Still, Irina and Viktor may come into a bit more money if they end up suing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (the company which owns Jeep) over the wrongful death of their son. In case you forgot, in the aftermath of Anton’s passing, it was revealed the Russian born celeb’s vehicle was part of a voluntary recall due to a flaw with the e-stick which caused drivers to unintentionally leave their cars in neutral.
Here’s hoping all of this legal drama helps the Yelchins achieve some kind of closure after losing their own flesh and blood. R.I.P. Anton.
