The man, Gregory K. Murrey of Alpharetta, Georgia, was at the MLB game Saturday night sitting in the upper deck, when he stood up to cheer during play and apparently lost his balance and tumbled over the railing to the lower deck below.
Emergency crews immediately got to the scene, where he was given CPR and taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Homicide investigators arrived later, though they do not believe foul play to be involved.
The Atlanta Braves made a statement about the tragedy, with a spokesman saying to reporters:

“The Atlanta Braves offer their deepest condolences to the family. At this time, all inquiries will be directed to the Atlanta Police Department, as this is an ongoing investigation.”

Awful, awful news.
Our thoughts are with his family.
