If you were able to tell Ben & Jerry’s to make a flavor of ice cream based off a Saturday Night Live sketch, what would you choose??
There have already been two flavors based off of SNL sketches: Lazy Sunday and Gilly’s Catastrophic Crunch.
The new one is based off something a bit more classic…
It’s called Two Wild & Crazy Pies!! Ha!
Scoop Shop‘s brand manager said:
“While our first two ‘SNL’ flavors were inspired by more recent characters and sketches, we didn’t forget the classic from the earlier decades. We were torn between this and the Bass-o-Matic, so it was obvious which lent itself to a better flavor.”
That flavor is apparently a mix of chocolate cream pie ice cream, coconut cream pie ice cream and a chocolate cookie swirl. That sounds incredible.
They’ve only made the special flavors available at their Scoop Shops, so sadly, we won’t be seeing this flavor in grocery stores anytime soon.
